Material & Dimensions
- Composition: 60% silk, 40% viscose
- Dimensions: 200 x 70 cm
- Weight: 135g — roughly 50% heavier than our Sahar scarf, so it holds a fold instead of slipping
- Finish: Hand-rolled hem on all four sides
- Print: Screen-printed paisley in small runs, colour set into the fabric rather than laid on top
- Colours: Amber, Emerald and Slate — each printed on its own ground, not the same cloth in three dyes
Care Instructions
- Hand wash cold with a mild detergent. Wash separately the first time.
- Do not wring or tumble dry. Press the water out between two towels, then dry flat away from direct sun.
- Iron on low from the reverse side, ideally while slightly damp. No steam directly on the print.
- No bleach, no harsh stain removers. They will lift the colour before they lift the stain.
- Dry cleaning is fine if you would rather not hand wash — ask for a delicate silk cycle.
- Store folded, not hung. A hanger will pull the weave out of shape over time.
Common Questions
How is a stole different from your scarf and shawl? Width, mostly. At 70 cm it is wide enough to cover a shoulder or work as a head covering, but it is still light enough to loop at the neck like a scarf. The shawl is warmer and more of an occasion piece.
Will the print bleed? Every lot is wash-tested before it ships. Wash separately the first time as a precaution, as you would with any printed silk.
Is the paisley placement identical on every piece? No. Screen printing means slight variation between pieces, so yours will not match the photo exactly. That is intended.
Is it warm enough for winter? On its own it is a mid-weight layer for cool days. In real cold, wear it over a coat collar or under a wool piece.
Can I pay cash on delivery? Yes, nationwide. Orders over PKR 5,000 ship free, so any two pieces together qualify.
